Auto disable alarms or emails when server internet is down?

Sometimes there will be an issue on the server side, i.e. internet down. Zabbix keeps running and, of course, when it doesn't hear from the Hosts or can't connect to them, it sees Problems.
When the connection comes back up, naturally, I see dozens of emails with Problem and Resolved.
It would be nice to have a script which:
    • Pings some place that is always up (i.e. 8.8.8.8)
    • If the ping fails, disable all alarms (or disable the emails)
    • When the ping succeeds again, re-enable everything.
Does such a script already exist? How do you deal with this situation?
    Thanks!

    Posting here for others.

I made a Host for 8.8.8.8 using the Template Module ICMP Ping

Then the key is the Dependencies tab for each Trigger. I added the ICMP Ping for the 8.8.8.8 host.
