Simple network check

I have configured a trigger , simple check

HTTPS service is down on {HOST.NAME}
with key: net.tcp.service[https]

However on the monitorring dashboard: HTTPS service is down on xxx

I can telnet to the website from the console from zabbix

I have made another simple network check:
net.tcp.service[tcp,,443]

This strangly works...

zabbix check not only port 443, it checks if it a valid HTTPS

Uses (and only works with) libcurl, does not verify the authenticity of the certificate, does not verify the host name in the SSL certificate, only fetches the response header (HEAD request). Default port 443 is used if not specified.
