Design Question Zabbix - Multiple Branches

    Hello,

I'm reading into the zabbix documentation and noticed i can achive monitorring in multiple ways, but which one is the recommended?
The branches are all small business ranging from 10 to 100 clients.
    1. I can setup a VPN and routes from the zabbix server to the different branches, and use passive checks to monitor
    2. I can Install the Monitorring Agent on Windows client and use active monitorring and send data over the internet to the zabbix server.
    3. I can install proxies on the branches and config them to send the data to the primary monitoring zabbix server (with/without VPN?)
