    Retrieve Information on Win2008

    Hello everybody,

    Server: Appliance Zabbix 2.4
    Agent Win 2.4.4.

i use zabbix agent on a windows 2008, i would like to retrieve the following information:
    - Network Configuration ( Address,Netmask, Gateway,DNS)
    - status of Disk
    - status of RAID

-Information about DHCP server and DNS Server

    it's possible ?

    Because when i use zabbix_agentd.exe -p i have a lot of ZBX_NOT_SUPPORTED

      Hi,

I guess nobody will provide you exact solution for you. Monitoring of HDDs/RAID luns depends on hardware/OS you use, you could search possible solution on this forum or on https://share.zabbix.com

AFAIK, zabbix don't have any built-in functionality to get information about IP settings, so you will need some kind of scripts reporting this info to zabbix/agent. I wonder why you need to monitor machine's IP configuration, DHCP and DNS servers?

i test on a VM windows server 2008 r2 but according to you, it depends on the manufacturer ?

it's for check the network configuration when it has a connection problem. For DNS servers i found a template with script for this: https://github.com/jjmartres/Zabbix/...windows-envmon

Do I understand correctly, that you want to check hardware raid controller/RAID volume status on virtual machine?

For now, this is what I want to do if it's not possible it's not a problem .
But later, I would do it on HP rack servers.

AFAIK, virtual machine have no idea about physical storage. There were some templates for HP servers on https://share.zabbix.com.
