One Agent for multiple host ?

    Hello,

I'm want to deploy Zabix for supervising server on different subnet. Each subnet is a different site.
It is possible to have one agent who can pull server and differents hardware wich are on this subnet ?

I've see many information about this. But anyone are saying the same things ...

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have a look at Zabbix Proxy server which sounds like what you need (then you have agents (edit: or switches, SNMP etc) that report to this proxy on the other subnet, and the proxy again reports to the server).

      Hello Eithor,

I know a proxy is what I'm searching, but I'm already being one and I can't ad one on each site and I'm limited by my CISO.

So, I think I've not a another choice that convince my CISO to let me open all those port.

      Thanks for your time.

if the task is only to ping (icmp) devices on the network (or check the availability of ports), then the agent can also handle this (userparameter \ system. run).
