Filter hosts by hostgroups (unsing AND when hosts belong to multiple hostgroups)

I am interested in filtering hosts in Monitoring/Problems. I tried tagging but this works only for events, not hosts.
I have multiple hostgroups in which a host may fall under. So, one host is usually in multiple hostgroups (e.g. Linux, docker, WebServer, ...)
Ideally I would like to have the option for AND (currently the logic is identical to OR, not configurable) in the hostgroups field.
Is there something I am missing? Maybe the functionality can be provided in another way.
