Changes to email message templates do not appear to become effective

I have amended the Problem and Problem recovery message templates for email but the changes I have made are not present in the messages that I am receiving. I have tried removing and re-adding the email media to my user profile and also restarted the Zabbix Server but neither has had any effect. Is there something else that needs doing before changes to message templates take effect? I am running Zabbix Server 5.2.6, installed from the Ubuntu 20.04 package repositories.

Spotted the issue, there was a custom message defined on the action. All sorted now.
