Monitoring Host groups (groups of server with the same application)

Hi All, We have read through the zabbix documentation of configuration>host groups, but we are not clear as to how to group the like devices in a group so we can isolate to specific users to only be able to see their devices when they log into zabbix. Is there a better place we need to look which will describe this process in a little more detail? Any urls to a how to doc or Youtube guide?

Hi,

so create a host group and put all hosts into that group that you want a specific user to see. Then create a user group.
When you create the user group, you can specify to what host groups this user group has access and what type of access (read-write, read, ..) . See below. Don't forget to press the "Add" button before pressing the "Add" button to add the user group.

Thank you , I overlooked the obvious "Add"
