Cannot find information for this network interface in /proc/net/dev.

Good morning everyone,

i get some strange issues in Zabbix. I get some unsupported items for interfaces that not even exist. Like in the title Zabbix tells me:
"Cannot find information for this network interface in /proc/net/dev."
Well, i make a zabbix_get to see what i get:

zabbix_get -s <FQHN> -k "net.if.discovery"

In Zabbix the interface called "veth5d9010f" is showed as unsupported item with the message: "Cannot find information for this network interface in /proc/net/dev."

What is wrong here? Do i missed something? How can i solved that issue?

PS: Can i just filterd out the virtual interfaces at all?

i though i do not need those interfaces but i was wrong. I do need thos interfaces.
