Zabbix 5.4 on Ubuntu 20.04 setup LDAP settings

I have setup a Zabbix server and would love to get it to scan my network. I am trying to setup the ldap settings and keep getting the error Cannot bind to LDAP server. below are the setting I have:
    LDAP host: ldap://awpdc01.app.appwoood.com
    Port: 389
    Search attribute: 389
    Bind DN: CN=zadmin
    Bind password *********** for reference
Test Authentication [must be a valid LDAP user]
    login: zadmin

Ok I don't really care about using 636 or anything I just want to get this resolved so I can start scanning. Is their something wrong with my setup? Also I can put that address in any machine on the network and it comes up with the search box to search names.
Except the zabbix server. Does it need some type of binding or joined to the network to be able to bind to the LDAP? Any suggestions would be great and please I am a newby to Zabbix and linux. I do not need encryption on this I just need it too work. I am becoming frustrated with this for all of the problems I have had to overcome to get this far. I could really use some help.

LDAP is for user authentication. It has nothing to do with actual work that Zabbix does... So if you are in a hurry and do not need much of users to be authenticated, skip it, use internal authentication and go on with setting up scanning or whatever you need...
