5.4 Zabbix API application

Hi

We've recently upgraded from 5.2 to 5.4. I'm trying to make some API calls to provide Zabbix data to our dashboarding tool. I would like to make the application.get call but as of 5.4 it isn't available anymore. Is this still under development for 5.4 or has this been let go?
