Install Zabbix Agent on CentOS 8 without disabling SELINUX

    Hello everyone,

I've have been learning and building a small Zabbix Server - Proxy configuration between two sites. One server that I'd like to monitor is a critical chat platform (RocketChat) that we have deployed.

This RocketChat server operates on CentOS 8 and SELinux=enforcing.

As I don't want to disrupt the current server configuration, I would like to keep the SELinux setting the same but allow the Zabbix Agent to communicate with the proxy.

I have found guides on how to install the Zabbix Agent but I am unsure how to proceed with keeping SElinux as is.

Does anybody have a suggestion or know how I can accomplish this?

    Thank you

    Hi.
We are using these commands for problems with selinux.
    ausearch --raw | grep zabbix_agent_t | audit2allow -M zabbixagent-policy
    semodule -i zabbixagent-policy.pp
    or
    semanage permissive -a zabbix_agent_t
    semodule -DB

This sounds really like "I want to drive this car, but I really would like to avoid opening doors to get in... "
