MIB File how to use

Now how to say to zabbix server to monitor my cisco hosts using my custom MIB file?

the guide says "The object name translation worked, you are ready to use custom MIB file."

yes.. but how to on front-end?

Hi, the usual practice in Zabbix installations is that the MIB files are actually not used in the SNMP polling at all but you use the OIDs. The reason is that that way you can export and import the template freely and it will work even if the MIB files are not installed in the system.

In any case, whether you use the names from the MIB or the plain numeric OIDs, now you will have to create the items (or discovery rules and item prototypes) to your host(s) to monitor something.
