Zabbix LDAP authentication (Version 5.4.0)

Hi Guys,

Currently we are trying to configure LDAP authentication on our new zabbix 5.4.0. So once initiating it giving below error. But username and password are correct. Please advise.


Login name or password is incorrect.

Did you setup /etc/...../ldap.conf? Always start with internal security and use the Test button before changing to LDAP security.

Hi Guys,

I have configured everything in a zabbix portal, Now its showing configuration is success. But once i change it to LDAP and try to log using LDAP username and password, unable to log. its saying me incorrect user name and password. Please guide me anyone having idea about this. Thanks.

The user should already be in zabbix as per the documentation. I too have the same issue, is there a way to import users from LDAP (bulk import). Else you have to create the users in zabbix and passwd would be taken from LDAP. This is not useful unless yo have a option to import/add users automatically

Could you please help in providing the steps to do it. I have a csv file with all the user information (220 users) . Could you please guide how we can script it using zabbix API
