Web monitoring change in "Response Time" since 5.4 update?

Hi gurus. I've has a strange thing occur. I monitor a number of websites loading speeds using web scenarios. I was able to get a reasonable idea of the speed that their homepages were loading this way. I could check the "Response time" graph to see how fast the home page was loading. The average site I was monitoring would show between about 3 and 6 seconds. Any longer and I would know to take action.

Suddenly (I'm pretty sure since I updated the server and agents to 5.4.0) the "Response time" of all my websites has dropped significantly. I'm talking from like 5 seconds to under 1 second. At the same time, the speed has increased significantly. This happened to all my monitored sites at once - all on different servers. The sites aren't loading any faster in a browser.

It's like Zabbix used to measure the time it took for the whole page to load and now it is measuring the 1st byte or something? Or maybe it is caching the website (note I don't use any local caching device etc)?

    I've pasted an example below.

I've done some Googling for changes in 5.4 but come up trumps. Does anyone know if this has changed recently? If so, is there a way to measure the load time of the entire page?

I'm using Zabbix in a Docker container. No other changes I can think of. I wish the websites actually loaded this fast!

Thanks for any help or insight.

Just an update. I tried adding a web.page.perf test instead and the load times were pretty much exactly the same as the response times in the Web check. So I'm thinking that maybe Zabbix doesn't fully parse a page in the sae way a standard browser might? Maybe it doesn't load the images or something - which might account for the much faster load times. But I'm still not sure why it changed so dramatically last month...

Hi, after update to 5.4.4 I also noticed that the response times are different. When I'm adding index.php page like next step of my web scenario (first is without index.php), it's also different. Maybe you know why is that happend? Thanks
