VMWare UUID as Hostname - Can I change Triggers to use visible name instead?

I am experimenting with sending alerts to a Slack Bot, for VMWare objects.

VMWare uses a UUID to define the host, and then they put the actual host name in the Visible Name field.

Is there any way to change these triggers so that they can display the Visible Name? So that they're more meaningful? Seeing a bunch of uuids in Slack is of limited value. You have to go to the Event Details in the Zabbix Gui to figure out what the real machine name is.
