Set Action status to Disabled.

Is there a way to disable an alert without removing it, but leave the trigger active?

Yes and no. Yes, you can disable an action, however, it will continue to send alerts if there are backlogged alerts pending action.

To disable, simply go to Configure -> Action and clock on 'Enabled' to change the action to disabled.
