    Drop down menus not working

    Hi all,

I have recently installed a Zabbix POC for our business to trial before we decide whether to move to it permanently (and purchase support).

We're seeing a very strange issue though:

Drop-down menus don't seem to render or be editable. For example, if you go to Administration --> General --> GUI there are dropdowns to change language or locale. These dropdowns don't do anything, they don't even display the options to choose from. Clicking on them does nothing. I have added a screenshot for reference.

I'm keen to get this resolved, as rebuilding this box at this early stage would give a very negative impression to the business, and what happens if it happens in the next box and I still can't fix it?

I have, of course, tried the usual run all updates, reboot, try different browsers on different machines and with different users (Both LDAP and built in), but all give the same result. I have searched on Google too, but cannot find anything resembling this issue, sadly.

The server is built as below:

    CentOS 8.3
    2vCPU 16GB RAM
Zabbix Server 5.4 fully updated as of today.

Any help or guidance offered will be greatly appreciated!

    Kind Regards
    Mike

Check if any error is output to the log file.
    ex.
    /var/log/php-fpm/error.log
    /var/log/httpd/error_log

Thanks, Atsushi, but no errors in these logs other than "httpd: Could not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name". Happy to set this if it's important?

I have had a dig around and can safely say that the dropdowns were once working, as I was able to change the dashboards via the drop-down option in the top right of a host. However, this has now broken too (Same issue as above).

      Kind Regards
      Mike

MichaelIves Have you got any solution for this dropdown issue?

I'm also facing the same issue with the new Zabbix 6.2 installation on Alma Linux. Can someone help me with this?

        Regards,
        Nithin

Hi all, I have the same problem reported in this page, all my dropdown menus are not usable.

my version of zabbix is 6.4 installed with docker container generated from this docker-compose docker-compose_v3_alpine_mysql_latest.yaml.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem.
Also this problem was not present when I first installed the server.

Same problem, no documentation to support this!

Alright, so this might be related, given that if I log in from the localhost, I can see the menus, when I log in using the FQDN, that's when it breaks. I will dig a bit deeper and document any findings for future reference.
