    Missing screens Monitoring menu item

    Hi, I have zabbix 5.4 running for few months. Today I updated ubuntu to latest (apt upgrade) and rebooted. During the upgrade I did keep original zabbix cfg. All works except screens. I do not not even see this on the menu.

    Did anyone experienced this ?

    How do I restore screens ? I am logged as admin (and so was using the same login and permissions before).

      DASHBOARDS HAVE REPLACED SCREENS/SLIDESHOWS


      The “old” functionality of screens and slideshows in Zabbix has been removed, based on the advances in the functionality of Zabbix dashboards.

      During the upgrade, each existing screen will be converted into a dashboard and each slideshow into a multi-page dashboard. Note that dashboards have a limitation of 50 pages, therefore slideshows containing more slides will be truncated.

      It is also no longer possible to import screens from previous versions into Zabbix. The screen import will be ignored.

          Whow ... indeed ... Uffff I was scared like hell that all of my screens are now lost. Was about to hit "apt purge zabbix" button

          It works like a charm including slideshow within one auto created dashboard.

          However the migration like this is pretty drastic. it is unrealistic for users to know this out of the blue especially when someone is doing OS wide upgrade. I would suggest to keep old screens menu item (for at lest one major release) which when accessed could just provide the message exactly as in your response. That will save a lot of frustration to the casual zabbix users ...

              Why did they remove screen function???

              A such screen is not longer possible in 5.4? Is the disk utiliziation forecast being not important ?

                    I did. I tried to create a table with customized cells, as descripted in the link I posted. All I can do with that new dashboard, is creating widgets. As far I was looking, I could not find any widget that let me create a table, or something very customized.

                    Or I am wrong about saying that I cannot customize everything I want in Zabbix 5.4.x?
