No Media for Scheduled Report Recipient Even though Media is configured

I have configured my system based on all the various documents and forums (as well as Artur's Youtube video) and now I keep getting an error when hitting "Test" on the scheduled report, which is saying "No media configured for the report recipients." However, I've validated that there are media types configured for the recipients. Additionally, I've validated that the media types work because emails are sent when this media type/recipient is selected for actions. Has anyone been able to get scheduled reports to work?

I have the same issue. I had the severities for the email-media unchecked, so I checked every single one, but still I get the "No media configured for the report recipients"-message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The same is for me. I'm running Zabbix 6 (beta2), using docker, the alpine-xxx images.
I have followed the manual: frontend url set, web service container deployed, ip whitelisted, server has the webservice url and min reporters set.
Email is set up as a media, media test is successfull for the address of the report recipient user. User has media configured as well.

Error message: "Report generating test failed. No media configured for the report recipients".

I'm troubled. How to start troubleshooting? Is there any log or something to check?

Oh my ... i found the answer in a YT video:

when generating a TEST report, the recepient is the currently logged in user, who presses the button. And in my case, it was the "Admin" and accordingly it did not have any email media type of contact associated.

I am logged as a user and pressed the button as a user, and I am getting this error.

I had the same issue and it was because I forgot to click update button for the user after adding the SMTP media.
        Working...
