Agent CPU Load and Traffic Load

Hello all,

how much system load is it taking when you monitor like 10 items per machine? all these are checking at interval max 30 seconds, so is there some impact on system performance to consider? or is running the agent considered very lightweight and the resources used to worth to mention? running the zabbix agentd on freebsd uses 5 processes. also, is there measurable network traffic flowing, or is it just minor as well?

The agent is so lightweight that even if you monitor 10 parameters per second you will hardly see the agent in the top of running processes.
