Web site performance - page download times

Hi,

I've set up a web scenario to monitor my home page but the only performance figures I get are the download speed and the response time (as documented). Is it possible to get any other figures such as the time to download the page? How would I do that or should I use another product for this?

Seems like you need to use an external script (see http://serverfault.com/questions/295...me-of-web-page. )
e.g. put this in a script:

$ curl -o /dev/null -s -w %{time_total}\\n http://google.com

The returned value is something like: 0.084

I tried doing this and compared it with webpagetest.org and got two completely different results for page downloads so not sure the curl method gives an accurate idea of end user experience.
