Monitoring directory contents

Hi

I'm new to zabbix and I'm trying to set the following up:

For me it's not really clear where to add those steps. I have already allowed

AllowKey=system.run[find /etc/* -maxdepth 0 -type f]

and created a new template with the discovery rule, preprocessing javascript and the item prototype but it doesn't seem to work.

I'm a little bit lost here :/
