Is it possible for the agent to run a web scenario?

When I create a web scenario it is always executed by the zabbix server and not one of the agents even if I attach it to the agent. Is it possible to get the agent to execute the web scenario?

what version of zabbix are you using? At least from what I can see, web scenarios are tied to the agent running on the interface defined in your host entry.

2.2.2 That's what I expected so I created a web scenario for the agent but noticed that the performance figures were pretty much the same as for the web scenario I created on the zabbix server. When I checked the logs all the requests were coming from the zabbix server ip.

Web scenarios can be run from zabbix servers or proxies.

Interesting. I didn't know about proxies. They look useful if you want to take some of the load off the zabbix server. Still don't understand whether the agent is supposed to be able to monitor a remote website using a web scenario.
