    Any work arounds for Ubuntu and the I386 or LibSNMP35 unmet dependencies issues?

    I got the Red Hat server with Zabbix and was standing up a Ubuntu in the test lab(Seeing which flavor of Linux works best) and I got the following 2 errors.

    1st was a I386 unmet dependency error

    "N: Skipping acquire of configured file 'main/binary-i386/Packages' as repository 'http://repo.zabbix.com/zabbix/5.0/ubuntu focal InRelease' doesn't support architecture 'i386'"

    2nd was libsnmp35

    zabbix-server-mysql : Depends: libsnmp35 (>= 5.8+dfsg) but it is not installable
    Recommends: snmpd but it is not going to be installed
    E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

    I did try a direct install of the libsnmp35 but that failed and I installed the snmpd service just not able to get the libsnmp35 version running.

    I got it working. I had to add the [arch=amd64] statement into the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/zabbix.list to remove the issue.

      Thank you for sharing. I've got same problem on Ubuntu 20.04 and solved like you suggested (at the moment)
