Alarm if host is turned ON

Hello!

We have a server that should be turned off.
We would like to create a kind of reverse alarm.
So, it should be considered a problem if its turned on and alarm.

How can we do this?

If it is shut down it wont answer to ping. So just ping it and when it starts to answer with 1 (available), trigger something.
Or if that host has Zabbix agent also.. agent.ping and nodata() function can help you out. If agent responds, there is data for that item. nodata(1m)=0 should indicate that there is now available agent...
