Read "Zabbix server is running" information Using API

Hello,

I'm writing some python scripts to help get some information about Zabbix server.
I need to get the information if zabbix server is running or not. It's possible to get this information through API?

IIRC no. Servers status is polled directly by connecting to servers listening port.. That is how you get "server is not running, data may not be up to date" footer on zabbix webpage, if server itself is down...

Is there a alternative to analyze Zabbix avaiability remotly? if is running or not?

a simple way would be checking port 10051 or utilize remote stats
