    LDAP Authentication Integration

Hi! I am new to Zabbix.
We did configuration for LDAP authentication.
As I understood, to LDAP authentication work, zabbix username must match active directory username. OK, It´s working fine.

Is that possible to config authentication based on active directory group?

    For example:
    - create an AD group like "Zabbix Admins" and all users that are member of this AD group could access Zabbix Console as Admin.
    - create an AD group "Zabbix Users" and all users belonging tho this AD group could access Zabbix console as a simple user.

It could avoid have to create user in more than one place... Just create in AD, put in a group and than it has Zabbix Access.

If it´s possible, any step-by-step to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

        Nope...
Only if you make somekind of sync script which creates users and assigns permissions over API.
