InOctets / OutOctets in Bps only increasing over time

I monitor network ports and FC ports and get In/Out-Octets in Bps. But the values are only increasing/cumulating. But I want the values in "real Bps", so they should they should decrease when I/O goes down. Any hints how to process these values?

If the values such as IF-MIB::ifInOctet and IF-MIB::ifOutOctets are acquired as they are by SNMP, the integrated values will be acquired from the time the device is started. If you want to convert it to Bps, you need to save the diff value. Please check the settings.
Do you specify a change par second in preprocessing?

Start by looking at what the factory templates do.
