Hey there,
soon I will be using Zabbix as the monitoring tool for my company.
But before I start installing, I saw that you can install each of the three components on a different server.
I think to put every component on a different server is overkill at first. So I thought, why not just give the database a extra server.
Is it possible that later the frontend- and server-component can be separated? Or would you recommend using a server for every service right from the start?
We're going to monitor about 50 servers and vms, about 10 switches and roughly 20 other network devices at the begining. Later on, we might want to Monitor our customer systems as well. This might sum up to about
To be mentioned:
If zabbix is working for us, we want to setup a high availability solution. That's why I want the initial setup to be as felxible as possible but not overkill at the begining.
Thanks ahead
Lukas
