How monitoring Hosts according script results

    I all,

I would like to monitor hosts availability using script , not agent (example... scritp verify if Host AZure is Running and define metric). How can I change to this interface ?

    Thanks a lot.

Use External checks when running scripts and monitoring their results. Create a script and place it in the directory specified in ExternalScripts in zabbix_server.conf. Then create an item that calls that script.

This is my external script, the host interface is x.x.x.x:0 (This scritpt is only test, I didn't monitor SSH port)

What do you mean? Does that mean the ZBX icon doesn't turn green? The ZBX icon works only when monitoring with Zabbix agent.
