Windows 10 Computer monitoring

Hi everyone,


I'm working as system admin in a small company ~35 computers, we have Windows 10 on all of our systems and i have installed zabbix agent on all and added them as hosts using windows OS template for agent active. Since we move from working in the office to working from home, which causes IP changes active agent is the only option to keep them connected without configuring each time they change IP.

Currently using default, items, triggers which are present in windows OS template. Maybe someone could advise what metrics/items and triggers i should configure for windows 10 desktop/laptop monitoring? Maybe someone has configured templates which are more accurate when monitoring windows computer performance?

We dont even monitor Computers, but you can use DNS names instead of IP-Adresses. If this isnt possible aswell, use the Zabbix autodiscovery. Im not familiar with this feature, but maybe it overrides the IP field instead of creating a new host.
