    cant see database

    Unable to determine current zabbix verson 'bdversion was not fournd' Is this a mysql error?

          Did you register the initial data in the database?

          ex. Zabbix 5.4 on CentOS 8
          Code:
          # zcat /usr/share/doc/zabbix-sql-scripts/mysql/create.sql.gz | mysql -uzabbix -p zabbix

              The above comment did fix the issue! Now I believe i have a config issue in 1 of 2 directories. My Zabbix Server console says the service is not running.... Can I upload a config file?

                  I don't know what kind of environment you are using, and I don't have any information about the error message being output to the log file, so it is impossible to support it. Please check the log files.
                  I don't know what OS you are using, but if it's CentOS, check the log file in /var/log/zabbix.

                      I apologize, I have installed Ubuntu Server 20.04 then installed the Zabbix repo. I used the tutorial from the zabbix support section of the webpage.
