Zabbix Agent 2 config -> include= setting in the config how does it work

in the zabbix_agent2.conf there is Include= if I put my settings in there (lets say HostnameItem=system.hostname) does this over-ride the default config just for that setting??

basically looking for the right way to have our settings included and override the default for like 250 clients, and future proof it a bit so each time we don't have to edit a config file

Parameter in include file will override same parameter from default conf. So if you put some general conf file everywhere and customer specific include file, then parameters from include file take precedence.

nr 2 there gives you the hint...
No particular order of inclusion should be assumed (e.g. files are not included in alphabetical order). Therefore do not define one parameter in several Include files (e.g. to override a general setting with a specific one).
