Disable proxy to poll Zabbix server every second for remote command tasks

Is there any way to disable proxy to poll Zabbix server every second for remote command tasks? Remote commands ar disabled by default and we do not use them. Even so t the proxy contacts server every second and we have a problem on the router due to security settings. I would like to set proxy to contact server i 2 minutes intervals only. It is possible to do that?

Have you considered using passive proxy?

Then I would say, you are out of luck, if you don't go and find that place in code and change it and compile your own...:P Or you can submit a request to Zabbix to make it configurable or something..
