Need help with Action.

Hello, I am relatively new with the SW and I am trying to do some monitoring and notifications on various printers.

I have set up the hosts and get events via SNMP pull and traps. The events end up in problems, but the action does not trigger.
My action is set to trigger when "Value of tag support contains CPI" and when "Trigger severity is greater than or equals Information".
I have tried to change the 1st one to "Value of tag support equals CPI" or add also a "Tag name contains support" condition but nothing.




Any help is greatly appreciated.

What version of Zabbix? Always include that information.

Do the people or groups you are trying to notify have at least read access to these devices? See the note in the documentation for whatever version of Zabbix you're using related to "Operations":

Zabbix server does not create alerts if access to the host is explicitly "denied" for the user defined as action operation recipient or if the user has no rights defined to the host at all.

The version is the latest, the users in question have the guest role (I made a change to one of them to the user role).
I checked in the groups permissions but they all have none defined (even zabbix admins).

The user must have at least 'read' right defined on the host groups to get the alarms of the hosts. As far as I know.
(and latest zabbix version is 5.4 for you?)

Yes the version is 5.4.
I have checked that the user group has READ permission on the specific Printers group that I need to set up the notification.
I can receive the host not responding alarm now but the other ones not (especially toner low that is informational) even though I have specified in the rigger >= Information.
