Web monitoring

Hello,

I'd like to monitor my website form the outside. The web server is on the same LAN than the Zabbix server (so behind the same internet access).

To do so, I created a linux machine located outside my LAN, on the Internet. I installed Zabbix agent on this machine.
I created a Zabbix template to monitor the website and affected it to the external Zabbix machine.

But I noticed that it's the Zabbix server who makes the tests, not the external machine.

How could I force the tests made by the external machine ?

Hello,
Yes I mean web scenarios, sorry.
It's OK, I'll install proxy on the same machine and monitor this machine by it's own proxy.
Is that trick works also for the icmpping simple check ?
