    Linux installation with packages

    Hi everyone,

I have been worked with Zabbix in the past and now I want to create a new installation on my Ubuntu 18.04

My choice will be PostgreSQL as database and NGINX as web server

My question is I have already those tools (PostgreSQL / NGINX) installed and currently running, if I process the installation by packages like the documentation shows : https://www.zabbix.com/download?zabb...resql&ws=nginx

Will create any conflicts with the current instances ? or it will detect it and base the Zabbix installation on it

    Thank you in advance

    Hi there!

Yes, you can use your current services. No worries. Just configure zabbix to point to services (nginx, postgres) you already have.
