I have a lot of questions trying to get my one-person business (<30 servers) monitored.. I'd love some hourly assistance..
Here is what I'd like to work on...
Set up zabbix to monitor custom zabbix agent data.
How to clear old results that still show red even though they are now working (under STATUS OF WEB MONITORING)
Auto-acknowledge some alerts once they are "back online"?
How to look at results of a single (or last) zabbix agent message. (What data is zabbix agent sending?)
How to display zabbix agent data for all hosts with agent: cpu usage, free disk space?
Is it possible to auto-add a host (with templates) to my zabbix server when I install the agent on a new host?
Help decide which alerts/actions will trigger an email.
Remove unwanted alarms that don't affect me.
(For instance, "Free disk space is less than 20% on volume Shared memory" is not needed.)
Help test that the agent is actually detecting low-disk space. (I ran out of disk space on a server with zabbix agent, but didn't get any kind of warning/alarm?)
Don't want to attempt anything that requires code modifications or a lot of time.. but do want to try to get the most of my Zabbix setup. pm me if interested? or??
* I understand Zabbix revenue comes from support... so maybe this post should be deleted? But I just can't afford the official paid support... I'll post on upwork if anyone is interested. *
