How does Zabbix Send E-Mail?

Thank you, it makes sense now. The relay server was what I could not find any information on, and because of that I was confused about how it was going to send email.

I am pretty sure I can work out the rest of the details with our webmail admin. Thanks for the reply!

No problem, hope you can get it working, if you have any trouble with a specific component later down the road i will try to pay more attention to the poster name

Once I did it a few times I understand why it's setup this way, it is a bit convoluted though.

Since nobody replied to the question in the topic I'd like to ask it again with changing the phrase:

Where are exactly lines of code which send the e-mail?

I ask it becuase I want to know if there is any chance to change default behavior (encoding with base64). I want to send plain text.

Unfortunately, I'm not qualified enough to find it by myself.
