I want to send alerts if some equipment is turned on in a certain period of time. But without installing agents. Use for example ICMP.
We have users who forget to turn off equipment (computers, printers, etc...). We wanted to send email notifications when this happened to try to discipline them.
I already use ICMP for when a device loses the connection but I wanted to do the opposite, however I'm having some difficulty in creating the TRIGGER for this purpose.
Could someone help?
