How can I stop multiple storage issues?

If I have one issue that comes up when a host has less than 10% volume on a drive, but then another issue that will come up with a higher severity if the volume has 3% or less space I will have two issues on the dashboard for the same drive.

Is there a way to consolidate these into one issue that will change or can I remove the other issue when that one hits the 3% threshold?

I can't think of a way to currently do it and would like to remove the duplicate issues from coming up in the dashboard.

    Thanks

Hello and welcome to Zabbix forums!

Trigger dependencies might help you here.

Set that your existing 10% trigger depends on 3% trigger thus you will not see 10% when free space will be less than 3%.

Awesome, that look's like it will do the job.

      Thanks very much!

It doesn't look like you can do it with trigger prototypes Unless I'm missing something?
I'm not really sure of another way to discover the disks, I'm using Zabbix 2.4.6

having checked, looks like I will have to wait until 3.0.0 comes out to trigger prototype dependencies.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction though.

            Hi,

Yes, Trigger dependencies between LLD triggers will be available in 3.0 only but it is worth waiting. By the way you can check out the alpha already.

            Best Regards,
            Ingus

Try To change your trigger statement

Essentially you could change your triggers to have two clauses to verify before being activated.

You could try to change your trigger statement from a < 10

              to a <10 and > 3

Let me know if this helps.
