Trying to Get End of Month Bandwidth Report

Hello, I am looking for some help, I am trying to create end of month reports on bandwidth for some of our clients. We are looking to make the switch over to zabbix as we are using cacti right now. I am testing out the current zabbix appliance and I was wondering if some one can either point me in the correct location or know how to right off hand pull monthly bandwidth data from the zabbix db?

I have looked through the forum and google and have found where people have been asking for quite a long time now but I have never found a definitive answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can generate this type of report using the Zabbix API.
