No StartAgent parameter in Agent 2 ?

Is there a reason why the Agent 2 doesn't have the "StartAgent" option like the normal Agent does?

Hello,

According to the Zabbix-agent2 documentation:

This parameter was used in the Zabbix agent to increase concurrency of passive checks or disable them. In agent 2, concurrency is configured at the plugin level and can be limited by a capacity parameter. Disabling passive controls is not currently supported.

Much appreciate in pointing this out but do you know which "plugin" is replacing the "StartAgent" ? I have some timeout issues with my setup and I managed to fix it by increasing the number of Startagents. When trying out the Agent 2 I couldn't replicate the increase of StartAgents so I had lots of timeout issues and agent was losing connectivity to the server

Well that's a good question, I don't see any matching plugins at https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../zabbix_agent2

I don't use agent2 and until now I thought it had the particularity to dynamically use the number of instances needed.
