    Viewing data of disabled host.

I have a disabled host which was disabled for a few months. The system is using timescaledb (not sure if this is a factor). I am using Zabbix 5.0

I am not able to see any data in the `Latest data` section for this host. I know the data is there because there are thousands of items in the host view. Also I am able to view the items if I manually build an URL using the itemid.

How can I see the old data for this host somewhat more conveniently? I do not understand why the latest data is empty, because it should at least show the empty items, no?

Glencoe thanks, and voted! So if I temporarily enable monitoring, then I can see the history?

I have a dilemma related to this. This host does not exist anymore. So if I enable monitoring the host, probably many discovery rules will fail all of a sudden. Will this cause the undiscovered items to be deleted? This is sort of a gray area for me. I am not sure what is the best way to keep historical data and make sure the previously monitored items are never removed until the normal housekeeper rules clean them out.
