    help upgrading 1.8.11

I have a really old machine running ubuntu 12 and Zabbix 1.8.11.
I have built an ubuntu 18 machine and looking to upgrade zabbix to current.

First I need to upgrade to 2.0 and then go further.
I have a postgresql sql dump from the old machine which I have imported in to the dtabase on the new one.

My plan is to run the DB upgrade scripts and then install Zabbix when thats done.

Shouldn't I'll just be able to use the "patch.sql" file for 2.0?
If so, how do I use it?

    SOLVED.
This is embarrassing. I just did

    useradd zabbix
    chown zabbix patch,sql
    su - zabbix
    psql -d zabbix -U zabbix -f patch.sql

Sorry to waste your time, I guess I had a brain fart
