    How to use SNMP traps

    Hello,

I've see this tutorial but I don't know how create an item for detect if I've received an SNMP trap. How can I create them?

    I receive logs on /tmp/zabbix_traps.tmp.

    I use Zabbix 2.2.7 with PostgreSQL 9.4.

Sorry for my bad English. Tell me if you don't understand, I will retry to explain what I want.

    Thank you

    Hi,

The documentation link has SNMP trap setup using SNMPTT which might be a bit tricky.

You can alternatively try this manual with perl script. It also tells how to create items and test them.
