    Problems - change their severity

    Hi all,

I was wondering if there was a way to change the severity permanently of problems that pop-up in Servers running Zabbix, now 90% of the alerts imo are not important and should be information yet are coming up as "Average" as you can see below, I have been manually mass downgrading them to Information however when I setup email alerts and webhooks those channels are now getting spammed.

    So my question is:
    • How do I change the severity of say for example sake the "BITS" (Background Intelligent Transfer Service) is not running (startup type automatic delayed)" from 'Average' to 'Information' Permanently for ALL servers, does this use keywords or something?
      • Does someone have the steps for completing this please or point me to the right documentation?
    • How can I turn off certain problems for certain Servers ie the CPU on an SQL server?

Many thanks in advance for your help!

    Hey user2021.

It's kind hard to accomplish that, because all of those triggers are trigger prototypes from the Windows Services Discovery Rule. This way, you'd have to change the Trigger prototypes.
But that would not only affect those you want to change the severity, but every single trigger discovered and created by that rule.

The best way to accomplish what you want, I believe, is with Overrides. Take a look here: https://blog.zabbix.com/extend-your-...errides/15496/

Try to understand about LLD, and how it actually works too.
