    Zabbix MYSQL database growth

We are monitoring about 180 devices and trying to retain 90 days of history for these devices. the MYSQL database keeps growing at nearly 10GB a day which seems excessive for that number of devices. This is Mysql-CE 8 and the history_uint table is the largest consumer of space. does 270GB for 90days of 180 devices monitored seem reasonable with a mysql DB?

I've read that post before, was just curious to see if anything else could be done. I have a 2nd setup that we went with postgres for the database and I'm not seeing this kind of growth so far. I cant seem to get a clear answer on if mysql or postgres is better choice for the zabbix DB.
