upgrading from 2.0.8 to 2.0.16

I'm going to upgrading from 2.0.8 to 2.0.16. I can't find anything in the manual.
Can I just assume that all I need to do backup everything
Download the files, configure and run make to install it?
Do I have to do anything on the database side or any other files other than run make install on the new files. Or am I just rebuilding it from scratch? thanks. First time I'm doing this.

Hello and welcome to Zabbix forums!

Your plan is correct.
Backup all files and DB first, just in case.
Then you simply have to download the new source files, recompile the binaries and substitute the frontend files.

No changes required on the database side with this upgrade.
